I think the most precious life is a beggar because a King can also be a beggar if his town is attack and he is the only person living and has nothing left, no food and drinks. He only has one thing to do and that is to beg for money. If he has no food, he will die of hunger someday. So we sometimes see beggar begging for money, we give him money to pity him because we can’t stand people faint in front of you. A king may have a lot of money but can he give them to those beggars that need more than him. If you are a King will you help them?

To me,all lives are equal. You may be a renowned person or an infamous thieve, its still the same, its just one lives. The only difference is the way their lives are treated.Kings are treated with respect and people do whatever they could to pleas him,a beggar is treated like a cast aside people which you can see on poor streets everyday.Imagine one day the country corrupts and the kings and people live in poverty, what will be the difference between two human lives???

To me,both have a precious life.
It was because, for Kings, they have wealth, power, freedom. They can enjoy with it. It is precious for them. The beggar also have a precious life cause they can learn about wisdom. They are more focus on their own life, culture, religion.
So i would say both have precious life. Beggars could learn something to survive. So there's no different between Kings and Beggars.

Hmm.

Here's an intresting idea.

Supposedly, in one place (be it may or may not have existed) there lived a king and a beggar.

The king, he lives in total grandeur. Wealth, food, shelter, a bed to sleep in when night falls.

The beggar, he lives each day knowing his life is on the line, lest he begs for food. Without money, food, or even shelter. He gets his cover from rubbish laid to waste by middle and upper class citizens.

Oh, but this is the *deus ex machina in my thesis here.

The king, surrounded by splendour each day, unknown to what transpires outside his palace. He knows of politics, law, and economy. But he is agnostic.

The beggar on the other hand. Though his outward appearance deceives everyone. Truly the appearance hides what is ticking in his head. All that is processed in his mind each day, it lurks of philosophy, culture, morals, religion and wisdom. He learns this because, being a beggar, he has made mistakes, he has always questioned why. He understands the plight of others as he is empathic and virtuous.

----------------------------------

And though the king creates politics, money among others, they are mostly material and last for the good of his people.

The beggar however, having been through life less fortunate knows that material is simply something you cannot have with you forever. He spent his life having done good deeds whenever he got the chance. He knew, it is this good that keeps the people together, which would otherwise defeat the king's purpose of contributing to the welfare of his people.

-----------------------------------

All in all, to summarise my view, I think the most precious life is both. Even though the king is rich, powerful (which is what people usually perceive these days), know that it is usually the less fortunate people (such as the beggar) that will find the true meaning of life. And generally speaking, the most precious life is one that can compliment another, such as in this case, the king and the beggar.

-----------------------------------

*deus ex machina means an unexpected event that turns the situation around. Though I am not sure if I used deus ex machina properly here.

If you really measure the both of them in a scale, of course, the King is a aristocrat which means greater power and greater force to move the country, but I don't beggar will hold the power of changing people's life or charging into wars.

If you were voting for the next emperor, you would probably be voting the aristocrat, but if you really understands, if you votes a beggar, the beggar would be able to understands what the poor life is like.

Thus, no one is the best after all, I mean no one, truely understands evertything.

I think that both life are precious. The king knows how to rule the countries properly and knows how to defend the countries. The beggar knows how to live meaningfully and also knows that life is precious. The beggar trys to do good deeds. So both life are equal but only how they live and power are different.

Well, this question depends on whether the King is lazy, selfish or self-absorbed.

A king, has wealth, shelter and high reputations but he will never have an experience of what a beggar has. The experience of being starved and thirsty for long hours and the courage to approach people for money without slitting their heads when they ignored the beggar.

Lets imagine that there was once a King named, Shabalabadingdong. He was a selfish, lazy and most self-asbsorbed person in the entire kingdom. He has great amount of wealth, plenty of shelter and many servents to do his chores.

Then one day, a beggar approached the palace of the king and said, " Your Majesty, the sun has shone its strength. The heat is very hot outside and your palace is the only area your kingdom can cool down. May we have a day in your palace sir?" The king laughed his heart out.He could not believe what he had heard. He gave a loud NO! and ignored the rest of the beggar's begging. Then the beggar had thought of an idea. He challenged the King to stay with his kingdom the whole day under the scotching sun and if the beggar was the last man standing, the king would have to be bethrowned and the beggar shall be the king but when the king wins, the beggar shall die.

The King agreed to the challenge immediately knowing that he could win for by the looks of the beggar, the king was much more healthy.

That day, the whole kingdom came to the football field where the sun was more hot than ever. Both of them were standing like statues. After hours, the king started to perspire and he fell down. The Beggar had won the bet and now he was known as king. The king was amazed by how the beggar had not perspire and felt tired. The beggar said, " I have been outside and walking from places to places on hotter days. I have the experience and am used to the heat."The King cried and demanded a rematch but it was already too late. The beggar was now king and the king was sent to his brother's kingdom. Now, the village has a bigger shelter and a kind-hearted king to lead them.

A beggar has more experience and living skills than a king.A beggar is much more of a confident communicator than a king and a beggar has a much more heart of gold than a king.

The experience of a beggar is way more precious than a king!

In my opinion, both life are equally as important as each others. Supposingly that one day you were a king and the other day you became a begger, you would feel that both are the same, just different life style and survival. no matter if you are a king, a begger,a dog or maybe even an ant, you will still be cherish by each other.
Every single living things in this world are nothing if it was because of their mother and father to teach them how to do things. A king have his food delivered to him while a begger have to fight for his survival. So in other word, both life are equally important but it all really depends on how are they treated and how they treat others.

To,me i think that both are equal.as both are thing that can or could happen to us someday as you may not know when you are going to be very rich or be come very poor in any point of our life. So what if the king is very rich and get whatever he want. But to me he is just a human too and so what the beggar is very poor and cannot get whatever he want but he is still a human

To me,both life is precious.Might it be a King or a beggar. For a King,he is very rich and has everything that he needs. While a beggar will have to work very hard to find money and support themselves.Sometimes, they don't even have their meals for a day or two. They even have to work more than one job to buy meal for themselves. So they need to treasure the little they have.A King only needs to stay at their palace and everything will be serve to him.A king does not need to bother to go out and stress himself out to find or buy things.Everything will be done by his guard. The king will also have to treasure what he has. So,I think both life is precious.

No matter what you are, a human, an animal or even a insect, you deserved respect.

If you look into perspective, the king is only somewhat materialistically "richer" than the beggar.

So, it is spiritually life that is precious, not the dependence of how luxurious your "materials" are.

Both have a precious life because everyone lives in peace.Well,no one lives is not precious.People live culturaly.Everyone is not perfect in this world.

As a King, they asked people to do what they are told to.As a beggar, they live around with no fod and drinks.

We should help one another if we need help.(:

To me i'm not sure which is the most important. Both the King and the beggar are humans. Both needs are similar. Both need to eat, sleep,et cetera and et cetera. Both lives are very precious in a different way.A king has wealth, freedom and fame whilst the beggar has wisdom, kindness but he does nothave fame as he does not need it.To me a beggar is smarter and cleverer than the King as he knows answers to the world around him. There is a lot of fables telling that princes and Kings often go to beggars to searh for answers.

After some thinking, I thinking that both life is precious. There is not a single life which is not precious.Mainly, the king have a good life,he could buy all the things in this world, but can money buy you happiness, freedom from your duty as a king?I don't think so.But as beggar, you could how to make friends without money.Sometimes, they say,a beggar can make a whole lot of money.A beggars life is really touching, once they have a family, they will all work together to support their family and life. Also,a king must everyday sit in their palace signing papers, listen to speech and many things, sometimes, they even forget to spend time with their family. But being a beggar is a different thing, you could explore the outside world even better and also spending time with your family even without money.
That is all I could say.Thank you

Life is precious.
Basically, a king, is whose that have, power, wealth & etc. That doesn't need to worried for anything.

As for the begger, the biggest problem is, the food&money.
They would might have been begging for money&food. Somehow, they could have tasted how life is precious.

Yeps, That's all.

I feel that beggar's life is more precious than the life of a king. King has wealth, servant and palace to live in. The king has once enjoyed comfortably life but the beggar does not. The beggar has to everyday stress on how to earn money for a living, never once relax and enjoy. Will you be happy as a beggar and die with no once enjoy life? If the beggar find a job and donate to the poor people, it would be better than the king, as the king is always selfish and never put himself in other people shoes.

I think that the beggar's life is more precious then the king's life. As the beggar is more advanced than the king, the beggar had went through so many hard days or years going round begging for money and he can't even have enough money to provide for his meals per day. As for the king, he is so rich and is always protected by his people, he do not need to do anyhting that he can't do, he just have to order his soilders to do for him. And his meals are always very graded and more that he could not finished them off. And he is always given good clothes to wear and if he wants to go out of the palace, he will have a couch to bring him there, he won't even need his legs at all.
So I feel that the king is more hopeless than the beggar. If one day, the king loses everything, he will also become a beggar then he will know that being a beggar is much more precious than a king. A king can go nothing and all he can use is just money but can he buy happiness with just money? The answer is no! If the king has so much money but he had no hapiness then is it worth being wealthy? If the beggar had no money but he is happy with his life every day, he will be the happiest man ever.

i think that the beggar's life is much more precious than the king's life as the king can have anything they want because they are rich but the beggar have to at least do something then they can achieved what ever things they want. But by right, both the king and the beggar's life may be precious if they know how to cherish what they are having now. So what i actuallu think is as long as you know how to cherish yourself and everything that you have now, your life can also be very precious.

I think that the life of a beggar is more precious than the King as Kings can have what they want but not for beggars. They have no place to stay, no food to eat, no money to buy food and most people look down on beggar as almost everyone in singapore don't pity beggars. Unlike the King, have a good place to live in,servants to serve food, enough money to buy what he wants and able to control people and that people must look up on him as he is the King.I pity beggars as they are always on the streets begging for money, I hope that singaporeans will not look down on beggars anymore as they are also humans like us onli that they does not have the kind of life that we are having now.

a king is just a name to a person who rule the country.
a beggar is also a name to a person who is poor.
the only differnce is that one is rich and one is poor.
But one thing they cant change is that they are both humans.
humans lifes are all equal actually.
Its only the jobs they are having differnce.
some of us might think that the king rule the whole particular country life's are more pericous.
but i guess we are wrong. Because all lifes are pericous alright.
we cant take things for granted nor our lives.
Our braving mothers give birth to us just to let us luve in this world.
We cant take our lives for granted because our lives are own by our mother and father.
Hence, my conclusion is that the King's life is EQUAL to each and everyone's life including the beggar.
Beggar is also human being.
So dont ever treat a Beggar unequal to the rest of us.

I cannot really decides which life is more precious. I think all life is precious and that includes animals. This is because if life being a King, it is luxury as a King is always being served by someone. And all the things is being done for. They just have to sit back and relax.

If life being a begger it is a tough life as begger need to beg for money and food to survive. They have to perservere eventhough if they know they had a hard life. They simply can't give up as they need to move on and keep on living.

I think every one life is equal and every lif is the same, all are precious. Every are the same ,every one was born by a mother and every lifes counts.
The king may be lucky to be born in a rich and wealty family but at the same time the beggar may be unlucky to be born in a poor family. Who says people who born in a richer family means their life is much more precious?
